CARL STARTED IN THE BUSINESS UNDER THE FATHER OF MODERN DAY SALVAGE, ART MCKEE (pictured with Carl in 1975). Carl was one of many treasure divers to work under Art in the 1970's. Art's discovery of the 1733 Spanish Plate Fleet started a worldwide curiosity in what treasures lie beneath the sea.
HE HAS RECOVERED MILLIONS IN TREASURE AND ARTIFACTS OVER THE LAST THIRTY YEARS. In addition to diving with Mel Fisher's expedition to find the Atocha, Carl travelled through out the Caribbean identifying and leading successful expeditions.
CARL WORKS WITH THE BEST INCLUDING JACK HASKINS. Who, according to Fizz, is the most successful Treasure Hunter in the world. Jack is a gifted researcher and has many hours of extensive study in the Spanish archives for information on the lost wrecks of the Spanish Main. The two are an amazing team and have worked in concert for decades.
IN 1992 CARL JOINED SIR ARTHUR CLARKE in Sri Lanka to film a documentary relating to the treasure and its salvage. The result of the expedition was the documentary, Arthur C. Clarke-Before 2001: The True Life Story of the Taj Mahal Treasure.

Most recently Carl can be seen on the hi definition television series TREASURE DIVERS. Treasure Divers is distributed through ZOOM HD in the US and Canada. The show travels overseas this summer. Watch it on Cablevision.
